I quite liked the film, Ra was great. And the effects and everything like that.

it was good for the fact that it wasnt meant to setup a show
but not knowing that for awhile i thought it was rubbish with its contradictions.
now i just think of seperate timeline. movie timeline didnt go into the series.
sg-1 timeline had similar events but subtle differences.

I thought as a film alone it was great, and along with the novel spin-offs, but I also agree with Alex as it did contradict alot in the show.
One thing I thought was great in the film were the helmets. They rocked so much.

I voted for "good". It was an okay film, but the series is better.
