There seems to be an increasing number of ship based series lately....it just goes to show how popular the idea is.

It sets up the idea of a new series really well. The crew is in isolation which brings it to a point where all you can focus on is the characters an set out ideas rather than nitpicking at slight continuity problems with the rest of the SG Universe

Yeah, it is an interesting, though Star Trekish, way to go. I myself am going for something in the middle.

I think ecplise did it in a very unique way having the ship actually crashed inside a mountain, I really regret that one being cancelled. I might try and contact planetkiller about it actually.
