NoDot comes from the fact that my middle name is ONE LETTER LONG. As a result, people think it's an initial, and put a period (dot) after it. Hence the name: NoDot. It's two English words: No Dot.
My names: - NoDot - nodot - no_dot
Get 'em right (and capitalize them correctly) and I won't kill 'ya.

Valórin comes from two Tolkien names: Olórin and Valinor
Olórin being Gandalf Maiar name Valinor being the Elven haven
I used Olórin for a while, but wanted something which was mine, and I really liked the Val in Valinor, so I merged them.

Well before i went on Stargate forums, i went on Star Trek ones where i was called Starship Titan (if you watch trek you know thats the ship Riker went to command at the end of Star Trek: Nemesis).
Anyway i changed to Starship Prometheus and then shortened it to Prometheus.

Mine comes from the creation god in Egyptian Mythology. I origionally used Ptah as the Goa'uld who founded the system lords in my first fan fiction. I also go by Ramius on one or two forums, but I dont go to any of them anymore. Ramius was of course a Goa'uld in SG-1's season 7 "Evolution"

Have you ever read the Bill McCay Stargate novels? Ptah was actually married to hathor in those.
