I really enjoyed this episode. A nice and impressive normal episode. I'm glad Sato got promoted, he really deserved that. I thought the scenes with the Valiant flying around the Horizon where great and would have been visually impressive. Nice to see Walters, still got a job as well.
Although, I did find Hoffmann rather annoying this episode.

Although, I was sure that the extra power was needed to lock the 8th chevron, no matter it's position.

OK, so I've re-read the episode and it's just as interesting second time round as the first. I really loved the new characters, Naik, Komataya and Bey'lar. The whole idea of the 8th chevron was fantastic and really interesting. Good job.

A good episode. I liked that were able to contact Earth (even if it was just for a short time). This time i must vote good though.
