Along with it's newly done website, Stargate Omega has published a lengthly interview with Alex Rubit, Executive Producer, Creator, Writer and oh so many more things for the series, Stargate Horizon: "Steven Reggers: How do you begin with writting a story? Do you wake up one morning and think to yourself: hey let us make today a Vorian officer the new commander. Alex Rubit: Sometimes you come up with the best ideas in the middle of the night or in the morning or while you're taking a shower. I think most writers are constantly considering new potential ideas. But basically if anyone of us comes up with an idea that might work it gets brought up in one of our online story meetings. We then discuss it, and get everyone's thoughts or suggestions on it. After the idea is given the green light, the writer will then go and write an outline, which is really just the way it works on television shows." He talks about several things, including inspiration for the series, Alex personally. The interview has a few minor spoilers about the upcoming episodes Parti Pris and The Cold and Distant Stars. Be sure to read the whole interview and why not check out the site while you're there. Look out for our interview with Alex, which shall be coming sooner or later.

It's a good read Just as a side note, we at SGU are still looking for someone to write interviews, reviews, and any other such things on a regular (or otherwise) basis. PM or e-mail me or EAG if you are interested.
