We once again find the team offworld, on a planet that was one a thriving civilization, that was reduced to rubble by the Malecathi. As Lieutenant Hasegawa and Jonas Quinn explore a strange military bunker, the Lieutenant is suddenly 'attacked' by a strange device, rendering him unconscious. Soon, he begins to have strange visions, visions that seem to be taking place on the world they are exploring, only in the past. Takeshi is taken back to the Destiny, with the device still attached to him, where, through these visions, he begins to uncover the truth behind just how the Malecathi work.

Comming from someone who wouldn't be able to tell a character development episode if it slapped him/her/it in the face, nice character development episode for Hasegawa. It'll be interesting if those memories continue to have an effect on him, like at the end.
