Yes, IMO actually - that band at the top that's connected to the stargate on the left --- it just doenst look right. Here's what I'm talking about: img.photobucket.com/albums/v498/pendergast/untitled.jpgAlso, the star background could be stationary, while the rest of the page appears to move. |

Hmm, it was fine for a while, now its gone back to the original design - whats with that? It's just your computer using an old version of the style sheet. Do a 'Shift+Refresh' and it should fix your problem. As for that bar, yes, I agree, it doesn't look perfect, however I had no ideas for what else I could use. But I do like the effect of the banner sliding across it. Anyway, I will see what I can do about it. |

Could you not add some symbols on it? Make it seem not so plain?

The problem with it is its a thin repeating image which is ment to extend with the width of the page. Using a larger image would increase loading time, but also look worse repeating. I just changed its colour slightly, to make it closer to the main gate. Is that any better? There are only three things I can do to it which might work... i) Fade it more into the black ii) Make it thiner, thus making a more 'streamed' look (see top of valorin.net/main/ for example) iii) Make it wider, thus showing more of the pattern repeating.. What do people think? |

I made it darker, so it fits more into the gate, but, yeah... I am still thinking about what I can do to it.
