Well, I know its not too good, well really bad but the new version (which i wrote today rather than next week) is a lot better in my opinion

Well that was the main problem I had with it. The newer one still has them finding the room early on, but the ship doesn't leave until the end of Act One.
Continuity is also set out in the newer version, explaining the difference in the events that ended the Wraith siege, through flashbacks (just as in Avalon) but the Season 9 continuity is not addressed due to the time-line, Genesis beginning set before the events of Avalon.

So the HUB contains one of each gate from every network? So we're talking different designs and that?

Yes, but seeing as the differences are so small (different syle chevrons/dialing sequence) it isnt a massive dfference.

Well the number of Gates is a mystery in itself. Officially there are 39 (including the master gate) but in Genesis there are 40 different gates, the destination of the 40th gate is a mystery that won't be addressed until way into the fourth season. I think I will be using around 10/15 gates in Season 1 with all of them being used by the end of season 3.

Most of them, not fully but they will all be visited over the seasons, bearing in mind the Ancients have a base in each of the systems.
