Interesting idea. Though I admit i'm a tad sceptical about some of your story ideas. Mostly the 9th Chevron, just seems a tad ambitious so jsut assume what it does. And killing Jonus, well moving on...
I'll stick with it, see what its like should be interesting.

This is one of the better recent concepts that I've read - am happy that all of the gates now have a full number of chevrons instead of increasing from one to thirty nine as the number of gates increases, relating to the number of galaxies.
I would still just do the spin off focusing on the hub and not throwing them around in time - but am willing to give this show a chance whatever direction you go with it.

The spin off is a focus on the hub, the time travel occurs once in the first episode, thats all, the other time travel was in "Expanse" which has been dropped

So they get returned to normal time at the end of the pilot?

No, they are trapped in the Ancient times during a war. The device that was used to send them back has yet to be created and the Ancients refuse to make it in case of a distruption in the time line. This means that the Ancients did not build the device, but rather it was placed there by someone else. This mystery will be answered in "The Weight of the world part 3" (season 2). As well as this, one of the gates is also missing, meaning it was placed there afterwards, this won't be answered until late season 2, possibly the finale, which is still being thought up.
The names of all but one of the enemies have been posted on the blog.

Well, due to problems with writers I have begun a massive rewrite. The new cast is listed on the blog now!

lol, i know! They walked out on me and never showed me any of the work they had done. Thats ten episodes more that I need to write! Oh, well. It might put the show back a bit but Atlas will recover!
